Trish Chalk, Project Manager.

Agile Nation was an ambitious project and to achieve its targets called on true determination from a team of people who together wanted to help make a real and positive difference for women across Wales. For me being able to manage this wonderful team and see the project to end of its planned life cycle has been a hugely rewarding.
The positive findings from the final evaluation provide a real sense of validation for everyone’s hard work and for me the report highlights the benefit of creating and delivering a large scale, multi-strand project that has effectively progressed the Equal Opportunities Cross Cutting Theme.
However the scale of the challenge shouldn’t be underestimated. Whilst many of the participants of this project are now best placed to enjoy lasting benefits, for the many thousands of women and businesses that could benefit from this proven support it’s encouraging knowing that the extensive range of materials developed from by Agile Nation remain free to access and download.

Joy Kent, Chief Executive, Chwarae Teg.

I joined Chwarae Teg towards the end of Agile Nation so can’t take any credit for the fantastic results achieved. I feel very lucky though to now be leading such a committed team of people and very much hope that we can build on the successes of Agile Nation – it’s research, work with individual women, employers, international partners and schools – for the benefit of future generations.
Chwarae Teg wants to help build a Wales we can all be proud of, where everyone is encouraged and supported to work together and play to their strengths regardless of gender. Agile Nation has moved us closer to this goal and I hope we can build on what we’ve learnt and done to create a Wales where women achieve and prosper a reality.

And finally …

Agile Nation was developed and delivered by Chwarae Teg, the charity that works to help women in Wales to achieve and prosper.
